Flashlight Pro

Overview

Flashlight Pro ("the App") is developed and maintained by Koopware ("we", "us", or "our"). This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.

The short version: Flashlight Pro does not collect any personal data. Camera permission is used solely to control the flashlight — no images are ever captured, stored, or transmitted.

Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Screen light preferences — Your selected color and brightness settings
  • App preferences — Theme and display settings
  • Premium status — Whether you have purchased the ad-free upgrade

No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted at any time.

Camera Permission

Flashlight Pro requires camera permission solely to control the device's flashlight (torch). This permission is used to:

  • Turn the flashlight on and off
  • Control SOS morse code signalling
  • Control strobe light frequency

No images or video are ever captured, stored, or transmitted. If your device does not have a rear flash (such as many tablets), the App gracefully falls back to screen light mode.

Data Collected by Third-Party Services

The free version of Flashlight Pro displays a small banner advertisement. The following third-party advertising service is used:

This service may collect anonymous, non-personal device information (such as device type, operating system version, and anonymous advertising identifiers) solely for the purpose of serving relevant advertisements. No personally identifiable information is shared.

Device Permissions

  • Camera — Used exclusively to control the flashlight/torch. No images are captured.

No other permissions are requested.

Health & Safety

Flashlight Pro includes a strobe light feature. The App displays a seizure warning before activating strobe mode, as flashing lights may affect individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional "Remove Ads" purchase processed entirely by the app store. We do not collect or have access to any payment information.

Data Storage & Security

All app data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers or cloud infrastructure for this App.

Your Rights

  • Reset preferences — Clear the App's data through your device settings
  • Delete all data — Uninstalling the App removes all associated data

Children's Privacy

Flashlight Pro is a general-audience utility application. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We comply with COPPA and similar regulations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
